Dogliani e il "Dogliani DOCG"

Posizione geografica:

Dogliani si trova nel Nord Italia, in Piemonte a pochi Km. da Alba ed è terra di grandi vini rossi.

Le sue colline sono chiamate "Langhe" e ricevono il vento caldo del Mediterraneo che è a soli 50 Km.

Etimologia di Dogliani:

Dogliani = "Dolium Jani" = "Coppa di Giano" . Giano: Dio degli antichi romani che riempiva la

sua coppa di vino su queste colline.

Tipo di azienda: Azienda Agricola.
Vitigno: Dolcetto e barbera.
Potatura: Gujot.
Raccolta: Manuale con selezione vendemmiale.
Vinificazione:

Solo uva di proprietà prodotta seguendo il programma agroambientale CEE 2078/92 per la

riduzione dell' uso dei fitofarmaci nelle coltivazioni. Fermentazione di 8-10- giorni con controllo

della temperatura, permanenza in cantina seminterrata per una corretta fermentazione malolattica.

Terreno: la composizione del terreno varia da impasti argillosi a impasti di terra bianca con presenza di tufo.
Il Vino:

Il Dogliani DOCG è a base uva DOLCETTO e  ha un colore rosso rubino con un profumo fruttato

e il sapore gradevolmente delicato lo rende un vino da bere giovane, che per le partite migliori

regge molto bene 8- 10 anni di invecchiamento. La sua gradazione alcolica e' in media di

12 - 13.5 % vol., la sua acidita' totale varia da 5% a 5,5% ,con un estratto secco di 22-24 g./ litro.

Geographical area

Dogliani is situated in the North of Italy, a few kilometres from Alba.   Is a famous area for the production

red wine.    This zone is surrounded by hills called "Langhe"ventilated by the warm wind coming from the Mediterranean  (at only 50 Km.).

Etymology

Dogliani comes from the Latin world "Dolium Jani" which i"Giano's cup". Giano was an ancient roman

God who used   to fill his   cup of wine on these hills.

Harvest Grapes are manually picked, according to a grape-harvesting selection process.
Wine Making

It's their own grapes produced in respect of the CEE 2078/92 agricultural and environmental programme,

set up in order to reduce the use phytofarmaceputical products during the cultivation. The fermentation

lasts from 8 to 10 days, during this period of time, the temperature is checked. The fermenting process

occurs in underground cellars, so that correct malolactic fermentation is guaranteed. Winter cold climatic

exposition, which enables to make more than a decanting and allows the tartrates to fall. .

Ground lThe composition of the ground varies from clayey mixtures to white ground ones, containing tuff.
The wine

The DOGLIANI DOCG is based wine grapes Dolcetto. Is a red coloured wine, whit a fruiry flavour.

Its delicate taste makes this wine pleasant and new. It can age for 8/10 years, with no problems.

Its alcoholic strength is of 12 - 13,5 % vol.on average and its total acidity varies from 5% to 5,5%,

with a dry extract of 22-24 gr. per litre.

Barologebiet.  Die Hügel um Doglieni heißen "Langhe" und werden von den Winden der nur 50 km  

entfernten Mittelmeerküste verwöhnt.

Weinbereitung

Nur aus betriebseigenen Trauben, die mit umweltverträglichem Anbau gemäß EG Richtlinie 2078/92

für den verringerten Einsatz von Schädlingsvernichtungsmitteln gepflegt werden. Vergärt 8-10 Tage

bei kontrollierten Temperaturen, Ausbau in halb-unterirdischem Keller um eine korrekte Milchsäureguarung

zu garantieren; wird der Winterkälte ausgesetzt, um die Tartrate ablagern zu lassen; wird mehrmals umgefüllt;

Böden Bodenkomposition variiert von lehmhaltigen bis weißen Tuffsteinböden.
Der Wein

Der Dogliani DOCG  zeichnet sich durch eine leuchtend rubinrote Farbe und eine äußerst fruchtige Blume aus.

Der angenehme Geschmack macht ihn zu einem jung trinkreifen Wein, der aber bei besonders guten

Auslesen 8-10 Jahre Lagerung gut verträgt. Der Alkoholgehalt schwankt zwischen 12 und 12,5% vol.,

die Totalsäure von   5-5,5% und der Trockenextrakt von 22 bis 24 g/Liter.
